As you can see, I am making progress on Devan. The front flaps are now almost done (well, obviously except for the trim, because I am still waiting for a package from Handarbeiten und Kosmetik with the Opal solid yellow). I love the way this is turning out to look. And I love making progress on it!
On a sadder note: just learned that a friend who was diagnosed with breast cancer about two weeks ago will finally undergo chemo starting monday. I feel a bit better by being able to knit her a nice chemo cap in her favorite color based on knitty's Shedir out of Rowan Calmer (just ordered at kangaroo in the UK). I hope they still have the turquoise! And I hope that the treatment is effective and kills all those cancerous cells!
