Knitting in Public and other things from a quiet Saturday in Paris

Today I went to hamman in Paris (nice!) and took the metro to get there. I took the baby cardigan in progress with me... and got to talk to another knitter (have you always used circs? but you knit flat with them? oh, that yarn is beautiful, where did you geht it? -- no self-patterning, or hardly any available in France -- ): I saw she was a knitter without having to see her WIP, as her son had a matching sweater and hat (beautiful), and she was watching my knitting.

So, here is the baby cardigan in progress:

(left sleeve, and left front are done, I am now working on the back)
