I finished the Petticoat Socks from Weekend Knitting. They feel great on my feet!
Petticoat Socks
Pattern: by Veronik Avéry in Weekend Knitting
yarn: 3/4 of a ball of Opal Dreamcatcher bought at Handarbeiten und Kosmetik
Color: greys and wooly white (1234)
size needles: 2.5mm Pony Pearls DPNs
care: machine wash
knitting time: 14 days (May 29 to June 11)
knitting fun: really liked it (did not like my attempt at a Jaywalker that I frogged once the first sock was completed, including weaving in the ends, because it was simply loads too wide)
Modifications: I used my usual 58 stitches for size 38/39 feet (mine). I also used an Eye of Partridge Heel, just for fun, and also because I think it goes well with the sock.
new techniques learnt: first time doing a picot hem, liking it a lot. Very neat-looking.

Tes chaussettes sont très jolies, bravo! Fais bien attention de ne pas les trouer en randonnée à Vancouver. Tu en auras certainement besoin car les soirées ici sont parfois fraîches, même en été.
