And more holiday knitting. As you can tell, summer has decided to stay here for a bit, that's why you get a photo of winter hat and mitts with a strap top.

Yarn: Ejido pure laine de corriedale (100% pure wool) bought at Les Laines
Color: Picnic (brown, pink, orange, yellow)
Needles: 5mm DPNs and straights
Pattern: Last Minute Knitted Gifts (Kim's Hat) and Weekend Knitting (fingerless mitts)
CO: 8sep06 BO: 8sep06
Modifications: none on the mittens; the hat sports two rows of slipped stitch/purl pattern, taken from a Burda Stitch Dictionary
Knitting fun: it was instant gratification, really great fun. It was also great fun to just take the liberty to add my own patterning to it, and see how the slipped stitch looks really great with the variegated yarn.
