Pomatomus Socks

These were relatively quick and fun to knit.

Die haben Spass gemacht, und waren viel schneller, als ich erst befuerchtet hatte.

Pour des chaussettes en dentelle, ca allait assez vite. Et c'etait un plaisir a tricoter.

Pomatomus Socks
Yarn: Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sock (80% wool, 20% nylon) bought at yarnbow
Color: Aslan beige/brown
Needles: 2 mm DPNs
Pattern: Cookie on knitty
CO: 29aug06 BO 22sep06
Modifications: none voluntary
Knitting fun: easy to memorize pattern, fast knit, and fun to knit Lorna's: I really like the smoothness and softness of this yarn (muuch smoother than Meilenweit -- which becomes smoother after the first wash, but still)

I'm glad you said they were easy. I am a pretty inexperienced soock knitter but have been thinking of trying these.
BTW congratulations on finishing your Socks of Doom, hope you get to post them soon. I'm in the same position, as yet no address from my victim.

Great Pom socks! You can really see the pattern with that yarn. I'm wearing my Poms right now... Got two more skeins in the stash earmarked for two more pairs!
