Happy Pink Socks

After knitting socks for the kids and for like everyone else, I felt I needed happy pink socks. Only once I knit the new-to-me star of three points toe, they were too short. And a friend was nearby and prevented me from frogging, so they are now hers. Well, the next socks were for me.

Eigentlich wollt ich ja endlich mal wieder Socken für mich stricken, aber diese dreizackige Sternenzeh war neu für mich, und es wurde zu kurz. Und weil gerade eine Freundin in der Nähe war, und sie ihr perfekt passen, sind das jetzt also ihre. Die nächsten Socken waren dann für mich (die RPM).

Apres des cho7 pour tout le monde sauf moi, j'en voulais pour moi. Sauf que elles sont trop courtes pour moi, elles vont a merveille a une copine, enfin vous avez compris.

Needles: 2.5 mm Inox DPNs
Pattern: 15 st per needle, 1st stitch per needle purled throughout, Welsh heel and star of three points toe from Nancy Bush's vintage socks

Knitting fun: I liked trying out the new heel and toe, and I really liked the happy colors of this yarn. And to be honest, I like to give socks to people...
Techniques learnt: Welsh heel and star of three points toe, neither of which I will use in the future, but it's nice to have tried out something new.
