Adorable knitting for toddler!

Ah: Kleinkindersaechelchen. Schoen!

J'adore tricoter des trucs pour bambins!

ChildHood
Yarn: Rowan All Seasons Cotton bought at Janette's Rare Yarns
Color: lime and cinnamon (light green and whitish/light brown)
Needles: 4mm and 3.75mm Addi Turbo circs
Pattern: Natalie Wilson on knitty
Size: 1-2 years
yarn needed: 4 and a bit balls of green, and 1 and a bit balls of brown
CO: 22sep06
Modifications: I grafted the top of the hood, because I like that better than the seam of a 3-needle-bind-off. I also knitted the right button band from the top down, using a provisional cast-on, grafting it (in garter stitch) to the 5 held stitches on the bottom.
Knitting fun: I really liked the smoothness of the yarn. (didn't like the number of knots per ball). And I don't like "real" stripes for the number of ends to weave in, even if I carried the yarns on the side. However, I do like the quickness of toddler knits -- not quite as quick as baby knits, but still.
