I am still alive (but socks of doom are in the mail for me, intelligence has it). However, in the meantime, I killed Larn. In return (isn't sock war great?) she sent me not only her WIP, but also a skein of local hand-dyed yarn from a Connecticut farm. Thanks a million, that's really great! Plus a fabulous card. And I'm thinking about what to make from that yarn... -- The WIP is, of course, finished off, and in the mail to its target, Laura. Während ich drauf warte, umgebracht zu werden, habe ich Todessocken an Larn verschickt. Als Antwort bekam ich nicht nur ihre angefangenen Socken, sondern auch noch handgefärbtes Garn von einem lokalen Schafzüchter. Klasse! Danke! -- Die Socken sind natürlich fertig (dank einer langen Metrofahrt hin und her ans andere Ende Paris, da ist man doch glatt etwas mehr als ne Stunde unterwegs), und unterwegs zu Laura. Foto gibt's nach Ankunft.
Voici ce que j'ai eu contre l'assassinat de Larn, par elle-meme. C'est aussi tordu qu'est le concept de la guerre des chaussettes... Merci Larn. Les chaussettes qu'elle avait commencees sont terminees et sur leur chemin vers Laura.
