EZ Seamless yoke sweater

I wanted a casual sweater, something "sweatshirt-like", and planned for a loose fit, based on Elisabeth Zimmermann's percentage system. While knitting body and sleeves I thought about how to shape the neck and what kind of yoke to do, and settled for circular with a deep scoop rounded v-neck shape. The neck opening ended up too deep, so I added some ribbed facing, and now I am completely happy with it. Ah, and I love those gay spring colors!

Ich wollte einen legeren, weiten Pulli, und hab gerechnet, basierend auf Elizabeth Zimmermanns System. Hin und her geschwankt für den Ausschnitt, und was für eine Schulterform, und jetzt bin ich richtig happy mit den runden Schultern und dem weiten Ausschnitt. Der Ausschnitt war zunächst viel zu tief, so dass ich noch Rippen drangestrickt hab. Hat Spass gemacht, alles einfach so unterwegs beim STricken zu erfinden.

Je voulais un pull ample, et puis j'en ai fait un, base sur le system de pourcentages de Elizabeth Zimmermann. Le decollete etait un peu trop profonde au depart, mais bon, j'ai corrige, et maintenant il est just ce qu'il me fallait. Et les couleurs sont tops pour mettre de bon humeur en ce printemps nouveau.

Yarn: Schoeller & Stahl Mikado (100% acrylics, microfiber), bought at Die Stricknadel
Color: green, turquoise, yellow, blue, purple
Needles: 7 mm Inox circs and 7 mm bamboo DPNs
Pattern: my own based on EZ percentage system

Modifications: hem facing only at the body, neckline my own invention.
Knitting fun: quick, what with 7 mm needles. And it was fun to imagine my own (easy, but still) project from start to finish. And I really liked that there was absolutely no seaming involved.
