I took the basic Opal Baby set pattern and modified some. I think it turned out great. It took me forever to actually take the time to sew on the i-cord (yeah for i-cord mills!), and block and sew on the buttons, but now it's ready to go on baby.

Yarn: Lana Grosaa Meilenweit (75% wool, 25% nylon)
Color: greens (Jacquard 410) and a light green for the edge
Needles: 2.5 mm Turbo Addis
Pattern: Opal BAby Set, size 3 months

Modifications: i-cord edge all around instead of the garter stitch. Garter ridges to add some structure.
Knitting fun: easy, quick, fun to knit, nice finished object, very soft yarn, machine washable: the perfect last minute gift!
Techniques learnt: using the i-cord mill!
