More midnight knitting for Christmas: a gift for a dear friend who lives in the mountains and needs her hats to be warm -- it is lined entirely with microfiber. I found this pattern on Ravelry, and it is just the right thing for two of those ggh Tibet yarn balls (one for this hat, and there will be a second one in red) I have sitting around. Now, what to do with the rest?
Noch mehr naechtliches Stricken von Weihnachtsgeschenken: fuer eine liebe Freundin, die in den Bergen lebt und die eine ganz gefuetterte Muetze brauchen kann. Die Anleitung hab ich beim Surfen auf Ravelry gefunden, und es ist eine echt gute Art dieses "fun" Garn ggh Tibet aufzubrauchen, ich werd noch einen zweiten in rot machen. Was mach ich bloss mit dem Rest von dem Garn?
Pour Noel, pour une amie qui vit en montagne. Chapeau entierement double, donc chaud. J'ai trouve le patron sur Ravelry -- et c'etait juste ce qu'il fallait pour ces pelotes de ggh Tibet, fil "fantaisie", que j'ai en stock. J'en ferai un deuxieme en rouge. Mais qu'est-ce que je vais faire du reste de ces stocks???Yarn: ggh Tibet (1 whole ball) and Bergere de France Magic (almost a ball) and Austermann Malu (almost a ball)

Cast-on to Finish: 10aug07-12aug07
Modifications: I modified for my gauge, casting on 80, left off the i-cord stub, and lined it entirely, anchoring the lining following Kent's tutorial. Oh, and instead of purling for the fun yarn, I just turned it inside out and knitted the other way around, and turned again for the top.
Knitting fun: fun and quick.

(fuer mich hier in Paris wahrscheinlich etwas zu warm, wobei, es kann schon kalt werden, also werd ich mir wohl auch noch eine machen...)
--- Pulswaermer aus dem Zeug??? das ist nicht waschmaschinenfest, und ich fuerchte, wird sich voll schnell aufloesen, wenn das "gebraucht" wird. Wobei, hm, vielleicht halt in der Manschette, und dann fuer die Hand die glatte Wolle...
